PUSD Virtual Library Checkout System
- It is part of the Follett Destiny platform
- It adds an aesthetic graphic interface to the original library catalog
- Each site has its unique landing page
- Titles that appear are unique to each site
- Allows students to log in using their Google Apps credentials (SSO)
- Allows students to place a hold on physical library books
- Allows students to read site purchased ebooks
Students will navigate to Clever.
Select the PUSDlibrary icon.
Select the Destiny menu item.
Then Login
Finally Sign in Using Google Credentials
Once you have successfully logged into Destiny Discover
Search and select any title that is "IN"
Finally, select the "Hold" button to place the title on hold.
**THIS WILL TRIGGER A NOTIFICATION TO THE LIBRARY STAFF.
Students will then go to campus to pickup their title placed on hold.
When can students place a hold on books?
24/7, Destiny Discover is an online platform that can be accessed at any time.
What days does my site offer library book returns/pickups?
Each site is unique where days and hours will vary. Please contact your site administrator or Media Tech for specific information.

How do students log into their specific site?
Students are automatically directed to their specific site when they sign in using their Google Apps Credentials.
Is proper safety being taken into consideration?
Yes, all libraries are to follow the guidelines set by the County of Los Angles Department of Public Health.
